With the rapid development of industry informatization, the demand in long distance and large capacity bandwidth increased rapidly, resulting in the rapid growth in the traffic of the access layer, metro area layer and backbone network. The dependence on the bandwidth rent or optical fiber direct-connection already can not meet the needs of clients in the industry.
Therefore, based on the existing service requirements, in face of the future network development,GHCOMTEK launched CWDM series optical transmission system, which provides the flexibility to increase capacity of existing fiber infrastructure by enabling multiple channels/wavelengths (18CH 1270-1610nm) over the same fiber cabling. Each channel carries data independently from each other, allowing network designers to transport different data rates. It’s protocol and rate transparent supporting such applications as 1G/10G Ethernet, SDH/SONET and 8/4/2/1G Fiber Channel across the same fiber link.
That provides a reliable, flexible and efficient high bandwidth carryingsolution for the operators, Broadcast and TV, IDC, finance, government, cloud, massive data and other industries
